About this class:
In Destination Imagination, emerging global leaders learn the creative process from imagination and innovation to implementation. This fun, hands-on system of learning fosters students’ creativity, courage, and curiosity through open-ended academic challenges in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), fine arts, and service learning. Participants learn patience, flexibility, persistence, ethics, respect for others and their ideas, and the collaborative problem-solving process. Teams participate in a tournament in February and have the possibility of advancing to local and even global competitions. As competition nears, some teams opt to add more sessions and more materials may be needed in preparation. Please contact Heather Gream for more information, to volunteer, or to express interest in adding another level team.
Minimum number of students = 5
