The White Rock Montessori Ensemble is a dynamic instrument group committed to performing a unique repertoire of music on a variety of instruments including drums, recorders, and Orff instruments.  This summer we are offering a camp to give future Ensemble members a head start on their fall semester music, along with opportunities to brush up on their music theory, improvisation and conducting skills.  This camp is open to incoming 4th graders and returning 5th through 8th graders.  Friday, July 27th, the students will share what they have worked on that week in a small performance in the Activity Room at 11:30 AM.

If your child wishes to bring an instrument that they play outside of class to this camp such as a guitar or violin, please email Mrs. Wheeler at valerie@whiterockmontessori.org to let her know what instrument and how long your child has been practicing that instrument before Friday, July 17th.  This will allow Mrs. Wheeler time to arrange music to fit that instrument prior to the start of camp. If your child plays a portable instrument outside of school that they wish to play for Ensemble, please have them bring that instrument to each day of the camp.
